Avocado Toast



Ciabatta Bread (or preferred bread)

1 Ripe Avocado

½ tsp Salt

½ tsp Black Pepper

1 tbsp Olive Oil (optional)

1 bunch of spinach (optional)

½ tsp Chia Seeds (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (175°C).

  2. Slice the ciabatta bread in half and place it on sheet pan or aluminum foil and place into oven. Toast for approximately 7 minutes or until it has reached a texture of your liking.

  3. While the bread is toasting in the oven, carefully slice the avocado in half. Discard the seed.

  4. Mix the avocado with salt and pepper until creamy. I prefer leaving the avocado a little bit chunky, but mix it however you like!

  5. Now that the avocado spread is complete, wilt the spinach and olive oil in a small pan over the stove on medium-low heat for about 1-2 minutes. This process doesn’t take long, but be sure to gently stir the spinach so it doesn’t stick to the pan or burn…

  6. Once spinach is wilted, turn off the stove and remove the pan from heat.

  7. By now, the toast should also be about ready. Carefully remove bread from the oven and let cool for about 1 minute.

  8. After slightly cooled, you can spread the avocado on the bread, sprinkle on some chia seeds, add the spinach on top - and voila! You now have yourself a very millennial piece of avocado toast.
